Fall has arrived in Madrid

I toured the Royal Botanical Garden between rain showers today. It’s next to the Prado Museum and I wasn’t quite in the mood to tackle that. Lunch was in a restaurant that was the Spanish version of many restaurants in Boulder. The hostess was young, cute with scant clothing and the room was spare, packed and loud cool music. No complaints cause the food was delish. I have many shots of statues but they’ve all begun to look alike

  1. beeeeyoootiful! makes sense that it would fall-y. madrid is about the same latitude as denver. not the same altitude of course. i miss fall.

  2. Oh we were just talking about this park today in spanish class! And I was wondering if you would be strolling through it, and sure enough. It does look mighty nice there. I am also missing fall. Although yesterday and today have almost been a bit fallish here.

      1. Not as much as I should. 5 minutes after I hear something, I’m still trying to translate. Tired brain. Going back to Retiro today. Amazing but the rain pushed me away yesterday before finished.
